Uruk Lives!
Dearest Friends,
Welcome to justin-allen.com.
I am an absolute fool with regard to all things internet, electronic or technical. But I am trying to be better.
I am a lowly author, a worker in ink and paper (how 20th century!), hoping only that you will find my books, buy them and enjoy them. Or borrow them from your local library (how 18th century!). Maybe you could steal a copy (A joke. I do not actually suggest this. Thievery is dishonorable).
Thus far I have one novel out, on shelves and ready for you to pick up (however you deem best) - Slaves of the Shinar (brought to you by the good folks at The Overlook Press), and another in production (also being brought to you by Overlook, stay tuned). And last but never least, I have a magnificent new ballet, with an original story by yours truly (inspired by another writer, admittedly), titled MURDER AT THE MASQUE: The Casebook of Edgar Allen Poe, to be on stage in New York this coming April, 2009 from Dances Patrelle (with choreography by Francis Patrelle and music by Patrick Soluri - and a load of startlingly good dancers).
If you want to know more about me, click on the links, either above or below. With my bio there are a few nice reviewer comments about Slaves. You might also find a few excerpts with which to while away your time.
